The Holmes hammer coal crusher uses a rotating pendulum to reduce a large amount of samples of coal and coke. The enclosed casing, covered feed funnel, and sturdy cast iron casing ensure safe and efficient operation with low maintenance. The feed hopper door is equipped with manual feed control.

The hinge and locking housing provide quick access to the grinding chamber for cleaning and bolt replacement screens. The open latch sensor cuts off all power to improve safety, and the rotor, pendulum, and sieve plate are heat treated and hardened for more than 3/16 in (4.8mm) to maximize their service life. The spring-loaded fixture helps seal the sample collection container for dust control during operation by expelling the nozzle.

The unit is installed on four wheels for easy repositioning in the laboratory. A special control box with NEMA 12 magnetic starter and overload protection is standard, with wiring of 230V/60Hz, 3-phase. Inquire about other electrical and wiring options.

The maximum throughput is approximately 400 0LB (1814KG) per hour, and the final size range is 3/16in (4.75 millimeters). The standard rotor speed is 1260RPM. Powered by a 7.5HP TEFC motor. The sieve plate can be used in circular hole perforation diameters of 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, and 1 inch (3.2, 4.8, 6.3, 8, 9.5, 9.5, γ, and γ mm). The capacity of the covered hopper is 1.6 feet.^γ（45 L）。 The model also features end-to-end reversible rotor components to provide maximum hammer life. It includes two screen boards of customer specified diameter, a sample collection container, and a 10FT (3M) cable connected to the power supply.
